Meet Michael

I’m happy that my daughter chose a school that offered a program she was passionate about. I was also happy that she would be close enough to come home when need be but far enough away where she could have her freedom as she navigated college. The most impactful event that my daughter benefited from was the College of Engineering’s Career Fair. She made multiple networking connections and obtained a full-time position that is waiting for her after she graduates. Make sure that as a parent, you visit your child’s college and go on a tour of the facilities. It will give you peace of mind when sending your child off to school for the first time. Visiting the school allowed me to see the community and the support she would receive from UTA. I felt much more comfortable that she would be just fine there after taking a tour.
