Alumnus Eric Hess Sculpture Acquired by Museum of Glass

The Museum of Glass in Tacoma, Washington has acquired a work by MFA alumnus Eric Hess for its permanent collection. The work titled "Father" had previously been exhibited at the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia, and the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, Washington. The piece is composed of white glass, steel, and an antique faucet. Hess, a 2018 graduate of the Art and Art History Department’s Master of Fine Arts program, has had his artwork exhibited in various exhibitions throughout Texas and Louisiana. His work has also been exhibited in the New Orleans Museum of Art, Louisiana State Museum, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Nave Museum, Victoria, Texas, Prague Gallery of Czech Glass, Czech Republic, and the Meadows Museum of Art in Shreveport, Louisiana.
