The National Institute for Transportation and Communities awarded five University of Texas at Arlington social work students with funds to support their dissertation and thesis work.
Four School of Social Work doctoral students, Kris Hohn, Rupal Parekh, Vivian Miller and Erin Murphy, received fellowships of $4,000 issued by the National Institute for Transportation and Communities.
Additionally, one master’s student in the School of Social Work, Craig Keaton, also received a fellowship of $3,000 by the National Institute for Transportation and Communities.
The National Institute for Transportation and Communities is a transportation research center funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation. The University of Texas at Arlington is a university partner member of this center, and the funding mechanism under the center is the Student Fellowship Program.
