Postdoctoral Research Opportunities

Functioning somewhat independently, the Postdoctoral Researcher will design, organize and conduct specialized and advanced analysis of qualitative and quantitative data in support of multiple projects focusing on community-based service systems and interventions for children and families. The chosen candidate will work 80% on projects for the Principal Investigators and 20% time on their own projects

The School of Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington seeks a post-doctoral fellow to work under the direction of Drs. Rebecca Mauldin and Kathy Lee as part of a collaborative research team focused on aging-related research. In addition to manuscript and grant writing as part of the research team, candidates may have the opportunity to gain research expertise through community-based research. Candidates will develop skills in social network analysis, analyze data from the Health and Retirement Study, work with interdisciplinary teams, and have opportunities to collaborate with a wide range of aging-related scholars.

The School of Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for a one-year postdoctoral fellowship to work under the direction of Drs. Maxine Davis and Diana Padilla. UTA is a growing Carnegie Research-1 “highest research activity” powerhouse committed to life-enhancing discovery, innovative instruction, and caring community engagement. Post-doctoral fellows will assist with a broad range of research projects related to intimate partner violence perpetration and/ or dating violence amongst communities of color, specifically, working on the development of instruments. The fellow will further their research and training agenda through formal mentorship and other career development activities under the direction and mentorship of two faculty members with expertise in community engaged research (i.e. CBPR, PAR).
