The value of a college education has never been greater. With the earnings gap between college graduates and those without a degree at an all-time high, it's more important than ever for you to continue their education beyond high school.
So what do the most successful college students all have in common? They start planning early.
With Bound for Success, UTA offers early admission starting in your junior year when you meet specific criteria at participating schools. UTA admission counselors work at each participating high school during the academic year to help you through the college admission and financial aid application processes.
The Bound for Success program is available for select students in Arlington, Grand Prairie, and Mansfield school districts.
UTA offers a wide range of valuable services to support you and your family when you participate in Bound for Success.
You'll have unprecedented access to your admission counselor. Our admissions counselors work weekly rotations at your high school so you'll be able to connect with them more frequently. They will also be able to pull you out of class during your school day for group meetings or one-on-one counseling.
Each admission counselor will host a series of college prep workshops on your high school campus each semester. These workshops will help you plan for college, choose a major, and help you transition from high school to college. We even have workshops designed especially for parents.
In addition to college prep workshops, each admission counselor will also host a series of financial aid workshops on your campus. These educational sessions will include hands-on learning, so you understand the financial aid process and how to receive assistance paying for college. There will also be financial aid workshops designed especially for parents.
UTA will also host special events just for Bound for Success students on our campus. These will include basketball games, tickets to the Maverick Speakers Series, and special campus tour opportunities. There's even an overnight college prep camp to help you kick-off the college application process.
