About Me

I enjoy helping students see that their college dreams are within reach. It's great seeing a student go from the application process through accepting their admission and starting their Maverick life! I've worked at UTA since 2015.

Before I came to UTA I worked for a small college in a very small town, so the number of events happening at UTA initially overwhelmed me. Since I started working here a Supreme Court Justice, two investors on Shark Tank, Jane Goodall, and Bob Costas have all spoken on campus, and those are just the people I remember. There's so much to get involved in on campus and in the Arlington area that there's no reason to be bored. It's also a great incentive to learn time management skills!

Advice for prospective students

Go visit the universities you’re interested in. Being on campus is the best way to gauge if that school is a good fit for you! I fell in love with my alma mater during my campus visit. Before my visit I thought the school was fine – it had my major, a location that I wanted to be in, but it didn’t jump out to me. During my campus tour, I heard from alumni and current students that convinced me it was the right fit.
