About Me

I've been working at UTA since 2015 and I love being able to assist students with planning their future. As an alumnus, my favorite thing about UTA is the College Park Center. It was built in 2012 which was also the year I graduated! It's a remarkable facility that not only serves commencement ceremonies, but also sporting and special events. My best Maverick memory was walking across the stage to receive my bachelor's degree. I'll make another memory in 2018 when I walk that same stage to receive my master's degree.

I was involved on campus, which made a positive impact on my student experience at UTA. It allowed my to meet new people, network, and receive tons of free UTA shirts! It definitely made my experience here more memorable.

Advice for prospective students

My advice is to establish a plan for their future. That plan includes identifying what exactly you would like to do as a profession and then searching for colleges that can meet that desire. If possible, you should visit all universities you are seriously considering. This allows you to develop your own perspective. Finally, you should factor in the availability of scholarships, financial aid, and tuition costs. Collectively, these will help you have a successful college experience.
