UT Arlington's Maverick Experience Preview Day programs give you the opportunity to get a close-up look at what UT Arlington has to offer, and to get answers to your questions about all aspects of the University.
You'll get general information about Admissions criteria for Freshman and Transfer students, as well as financial aid and scholarship presentations. During the day you'll have the opportunity to meet with faculty, staff and students, visit with representatives of many activities and organizations, and take a tour of our campus and housing facilities. You'll be able to get general information about academic departments, but you won't be able to receive any program-specific academic advising at Maverick Experience.
Review a sample Saturday Maverick Experience Agenda. Please note weekday Maverick Experience events will follow a different schedule.
If you require special accommodations to attend Maverick Experience, please e-mail our office at email@example.com. Please include "Maverick Experience Special Accommodations" in the subject. We will work with you individually to accommodate your request.
Signs will be posted on the North and South ends of Cooper Street to direct you to College Park District Garage, which consists of three garages: Park North, Park Central, and Park South. The parking garages are located on Center St.
You may park in any spot in the garages marked for students, faculty, or staff. Please do not park in the spots marked for retail or the First Baptist Church.
In addition to the College Park District Garages, Maverick Experience visitors may park in any open student lot. These lots are numbered and marked with blue signs. Please do not park in the apartment complex parking lots across the street from the University Center. The University does not own that lot and your vehicle may be towed.
You can view a parking map of campus online at www.uta.edu/maps.
Check-in will be in the E.H. Hereford University Center at 8 a.m., and the first session begins at 8:45 a.m.
UT Arlington will use the Inside UT Arlington smart phone app, powered by Guidebook, to host an online mobile guide for Maverick Experience. The Inside UT Arlington app is free and available in the iOS App Store, on Google Play, and for Blackberry devices. Search for Inside UT Arlington in your device's app store. After opening the app, hit the download guides button on the bottom of the screen and choose the April 5, 2014 Maverick Experience Guide. You can see the entire agenda, save sessions to your schedule, fill out session evaluations, access maps, and integrate with social media all through the app.
Maverick Experience is not designed to accomodate school or community groups. If students will attend together, each students needs to register individually for the event. If you are interested in visiting UT Arlington with your school or community group, please view our Group Visit options.
