Maverick Experience is a full-day event that gives prospective freshmen and transfer students a close-up look at what UTA has to offer.
Each Maverick Experience begins at 8 a.m. and ends at approximately 3 p.m. The event includes sessions on admission, financial aid and scholarships, academic colleges and schools, and more. You'll have the opportunity to take a campus tour and check out UTA's residence halls and apartments. The Academic and Student Life Fair is your chance to chat one-on-on with representatives from campus support services, clubs and organizations, and academic departments. In addition, you can meet with an Admission Counselor to complete your application or check your application status.
Lunch is provided by UTA for you and your guests.

Please note that this event is not an orientation program. Admitted students are required to attend New Maverick Orientation.
If you require special accommodations to attend Maverick Experience, please e-mail our office at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include "Maverick Experience Special Accommodations" in the subject. We will work with you individually to accommodate your request.
Attendees may park in the three College Park garages (Park South, Park Central or Park North) located on South Center Street. Please park in any spot marked for students, faculty, or staff. Please do not park in the spaces designated for retail or the First Baptist Church.

Check-in will be on the first floor of the E.H. Hereford University Center.
Maverick Experience attendees may download the free Guidebook app to view session information, build your schedule, and take a self-guided campus tour. See instructions below for utilizing Guidebook.
Please keep in mind, when you add a session to your schedule it does not mean you are required to attend that session. The schedule is avaliable to help organize your Maverick Experience Day.
Any school or community groups interested in attending Maverick Experience, each student attending with the group must register themselves individually in advance. Each student must also indiciate their chaperone name in the registration form. Those travelling by bus may drop off students in front of the E.H. Hereford University Center and park their bus in Lot 26.
