You chose us. We chose you. Now that you’re about to be a Maverick, we wanted to remind you of a few things to help you along the way.
Log onto your MyMav account and accept your admission by choosing the accept/decline link in the Admission section of your Student Center.
If you are thinking about living on campus, apply as soon as possible. The housing application is free and students are only asked to submit a deposit when they are offered a housing contract.
Don’t forget to submit an official final high school transcript with your graduation date to the Office of Admissions. The best and fastest method is electronically--sent directly from your school. If you are asked for an email address, use firstname.lastname@example.org. However, we will also accept transcripts by mail or in person.
All students under the age of 22 are required to be immunized against bacterial meningitis before they enroll at UTA. You can submit your documents to Admissions, Records, and Registration.
TSI requires all incoming students be assessed academically to determine college-readiness in Reading, Writing, and Math. You can find out if you are TSI liable by checking your status in MyMav.
As a first-time freshman, orientation is a must. It’s a great way to meet new mavericks and learn about all the resources available to you. You will also register for classes at orientation.
Maverick Stampede is the official kick-off to the new academic year. This is a series of events leading up to the first day of classes. Events include Move-In Day, Maverick March, MavsMeet Convocation and many more!
Get excited! This is a high-energy place and you’re about to be a big part of that. Stay connected through social media.
