Here are some helpful next steps for domestic graduate students.
You can accept or decline your admission by going to your Student Center in MyMav and clicking on the Accept or Decline hyperlink under the Admissions tab near the bottom of the page. UT Arlington does not require a financial deposit for those who accept admission.
Your graduate advisor can provide you with more information on your specific program requirements and courses. Find your graduate advisor online.
Contact your academic department for more information regarding orientation.
This one-day program provides useful information about important resources available to you and what it’s like to be a graduate student on campus. Learn about housing options available to you by calling our Housing Office at 817-272-2791 or visiting them online at www.uta.edu/housing
Once open registration begins, you can register for your classes through your MyMav Student Center. Make sure you know your Net ID and password in order to be able to register.
Review your class schedule in MyMav for a list of your required texts and stop by the UTA bookstore on campus or order your textbooks online at www.uta.edu/bookstore
Stop by the Mav Express office in the University Center to get your Mav Express Card made. With this card, you will gain access to the library, the Maverick Activities Center, the Health Center, and students discounts (DFW metroplex).
All cars on campus are required to purchase a parking permit. If you plan on bringing your car, make sure you order your parking permit online usingMavPark to avoid getting a fine.
Make sure you pay tuition by the payment deadline. If the deadline is not met, enrollment will be cancelled and class seats will be released. For more information, please visit https://www.uta.edu/business-affairs/sfs/payment-info/
Texas Senate Bill 1107 requires all new students or students returning after being out for one spring or fall semester that are under the age of 22 be immunized against bacterial meningitis before they enroll in an institution of higher education.
