At the Center of it All

UT Arlington sits in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, a thriving area that is one of the largest urban centers in the country. On campus, you’ll find an abundance of support services and entertainment options, helping you succeed in class and enjoy yourself outside of it.

The University has more than 300 student organizations, including many international groups. Popular annual events include the Maverick Speaker Series—which has featured renowned guests such as Magic Johnson, Sally Ride, and Anderson Cooper—Homecoming Week, Maverick Activities Fair Day, and International Week.

A highlight of campus is the newly completed College Park District, a place where students, neighbors, and visitors can intermingle and enjoy stellar entertainment, sports, and restaurants. Its focal point is College Park Center, UT Arlington’s state-of-the-art arena that regularly hosts Division I basketball and volleyball games, concerts, lectures, and other high-profile events.
