Applying for admission is easy, and we're here to work with you every step of the way. Check out the three basic steps for all international applicants below. When you're ready to dive a little deeper, choose the application type that's right for you to see detailed instructions.

1. Complete the online application

You will need to apply using the ApplyTexas online application. Create your profile on the ApplyTexas website to get a username and password.

2. Pay your application fee

At the end of the ApplyTexas application, you'll be able to pay the application fee with a credit card. It’s easiest to pay the application fee as the last step of your application. There are no application fee waivers available for international students.

3. Submit your transcripts, test scores, and documents

Once you've applied for admission, we'll need you to submit your transcripts, test scores, and other official documents to the Office of Admissions by mail or in person.


If you are a resident of a foreign country and wish to enroll at UTA as a student there are two application types.

If you are seeking a four-year bachelor’s degree, you are an international undergraduate student. Freshman students have or will complete secondary school before attending UTA and have less than one year of college. Transfer students have one year or more of college/university level coursework.
