You chose us. We chose you. Now that you're about to be a Maverick, we wanted to remind you of a few things to help you along the way.
Log on to your MyMav account and accept your admission by choosing the accept/decline link in the Admission section of your Student Center.
If you are thinking about living on campus, apply as soon as possible. The housing application is free and students are only asked to submit a deposit when they are offered a housing contract.
If you're currently enrolled, don't forget to submit an official transcript from your final semester at your previous institution with your graduation date to the Office of Admissions by mail or in person. Transfer students also need to submit an official final high school transcript to verify your high school graduation.
All students under the age of 22 are required to be immunized against bacterial meningitis before they enroll at UTA. You can submit your documents to Magnus Health SMR through your MyMav account.
You can find out if you are TSI liable by checking your status in MyMav. If you're liable you will need to turn in any necessary documentation before registering for classes.
You need to meet with an academic advisor in your academic department to be advised. You'll work with your advisor to determine your class schedule and set up your degree plan.
As a transfer student, orientation is a must. It's a great way to meet new Mavericks and learn about all the resources available to you. You'll register for classes at orientation as long as you've already met with your academic advisor.
You'll need to purchase or rent books for your classes. You can review required texbooks in MyMav or at the UTA Bookstore.
Maverick Stampede is the official kick-off to the new academic year. This is a series of events leading up to the first day of classes. Events include Move-In Day, Maverick March, MavsMeet Convocation, and many more!
Get excited! This is a high-energy place and you're about to be a big part of that. Stay connected through social media.
