As a member of the Bound for Success program, UT Arlington provides special campus visit opportunities to help you see the place where your future will take shape.
Visiting campus is one of the best ways to learn about UT Arlington. It gives you the chance to see the places where you will live and learn, discover the academic opportunities for you, and get a feel for student life in Maverick Country.
Bound for Success Tours includes a presentation from your admission counselor about how UT Arlington keeps your education focused on your success and tour of campus with one of our current students.
A detailed confirmation email will be sent 2 business days before the event date. In the meantime, please contact the Dan Dipert University Welcome Center with questions: 817-272-8687.
There are no upcoming Bound For Success Tours at this time. Please check back in the fall semester for more tour dates.
UT Arlington Bound for Success tours are offered at 3 p.m. on selected Wednesdays. All tours begin and end at the Dan Dipert University Welcome Center in the College Park District. The total visit time is 2 hours, a 30 minute presentation and a 90 minute walking tour.
Preparing for Your Tour
In order to receive detailed information regarding your tour, please register at least three days in advance online or over the phone (817-272-8687).
Campus tours include a lot of walking outside, so please wear comfortable shoes. Also, be aware of current weather conditions and dress accordingly, as our tours still take place when the weather is hot, cold, or raining. However, tours may be cancelled if weather conditions become unsafe. Unsafe conditions include extreme cold or heat, high winds, hail, lightning storms or other weather hazards. For example, tours will not be given if the temperature exceeds 105 degrees (Fahrenheit).
See the online Campus Maps for driving directions to campus.
Parking for all tours is available in the Park South garage on South Center Street or any student lot on campus. Guests are required to register their license plate number upon arrival at the Welcome Center to avoid receiving a parking ticket. Tour visitors are encouraged to leave their vehicles in the parking garage throughout their visit, even if they have appointments elsewhere on campus.
If you require special accommodations, please contact the Dan Dipert University Welcome Center at 817-272-8687 or firstname.lastname@example.org. We will try to accommodate your request.
