About Business Tours

The visit includes a general campus tour, as well as a Business information session and specialized tour of the College of Business. Business Tours are designed for incoming undergraduate students. Individuals planning to come straight to UTA from high school should register for a Freshmen Business Tour. Transfer Business Tours are for students transferring to UTA from a community college or another four-year institution.

Business Tours begin at 2 p.m. and end by 5 p.m. The tour begins and ends at the Dan Dipert University Welcome Center.

UTA can provide college visit day documentation for your high school's attendance officer.

Space is limited for Business Tours. Students may bring one guest.

Parking for all tours is available in the Park South garage on South Center Street or any student lot on campus. Guests are required to register their license plate number upon arrival at the Welcome Center to avoid receiving a parking ticket. Tour visitors are encouraged to leave their vehicles in the parking garage throughout their visit, even if they have appointments elsewhere on campus.

Campus tours include a lot of walking outside, so please wear comfortable shoes. Also, be aware of current weather conditions and dress accordingly, as our tours still take place when the weather is hot, cold, or raining. However, tours may be cancelled if weather conditions become unsafe. Unsafe conditions include extreme cold or heat, high winds, hail, lightning storms or other weather hazards. For example, tours will not be given if the temperature exceeds 105 degrees (Fahrenheit).
