Software Review and Approval Process
Technology Approval Process Request (TAPREQ) in ServiceNow
Software/cloud application purchases (including free or trial use packages) require an approved Technology Approval Process Request ( TAPREQ ) in ServiceNow.
This includes website development, software, any resource accessed through a computer or mobile device (on-line access, video/audio files, subscriptions, etc.), and related vendor/partner services.
Through the TAPREQ process, reviews will be completed by the Information Security Office, Enterprise Architecture and EIR Accessibility to ensure the product or service complies with university policies and standards.
Below is a list of supporting Knowledge Base (KB) articles to help outline requirements and exclusions:

If you will use your ProCard for a technology purchase, the TAPREQ is required prior to your Business Affairs Exception Tracker (BAET) request. Include a copy of the ServiceNow approval email with your BAET so that Accounting Services will be able to process your request.
