Each summer, UTA offers a wide variety of day and overnight camps featuring everything from athletics to engineering. For more information on a program, please follow the associated link, and you will find contact and registration information for each specific program.
Due to COVID-19, the Summer 2021 Schedule continues to change. Below you will find the most up to date information regarding camps offered at UTA.The University is closely monitoring the situation and we invite you to check back as we continue to modify our plans as we approach this summer.PARTICIPANT FORMS FOR UTA YOUTH CAMPS
Participants in University of Texas at Arlington sponsored youth camps are required to complete the following forms and submit to their specific camp director. Forms should not be submitted to Guest Services. Each camp may specify additional forms for each participant, please contact the sponsoring division/department if the form you need is not listed here.

External sponsored youth camps may have required forms for each participant, please contact the organization directly for specifics.
Camps
Maventure Camp is an exciting opportunity for all new Mavericks to be introduced to the spirit and traditions of UTA. If you're looking for an unforgettable, fun-filled introduction to the UTA community, look no further than Maventure Camp!
Dates: August 5-6, 2020 Cost: $77 Age group: 18+ Online Camp
For Drum Majors, Leadership and Colorguard, this three-day virtual camp is designed to strengthen the abilities of beginner, intermediate, and advanced students, while providing a variety of experiences in fundamentals, leadership, and performance. For students going into grades 9-12 in Fall, 2020. Colorguard students in middle school will also be accepted.
Dates: June 15-17, 2020 Cost: $50
Age group: 14-18 Online Camp
A music camp for advanced high school and middle school French Horn students featuring the internationally renown Horn quartet The Four Hornsmen of the Apocalypse and additional All-Star Faculty. . . . Perfect for "Horn Nerds"!
Dates: July 17-22, 2020 Age group: 12-18 Online Camp
Upward Bound is a federally funded program founded in 1965 by the U.S. Department of Education. Located at several institutions throughout the country, the Upward Bound Program at UT Arlington has been providing services to area high school students since 1982. The program focuses on equipping these students with the necessary skills to succeed, both academically and personally, after high school graduation.
Dates: July 12 - August 15, 2020 Age group: 17+ Online Camp
The College of Architecture, Planning, and Public Affairs (CAPPA) will hold an online camp, Summer@CAPPA, in two sessions of 1) June 2-5 and 2) June 16-19, 2020, in four half-days. Camp activities will be hosted online in ZOOM, the web-based platform, and take place in the afternoon. Summer@CAPPA is for high school students interested in architecture and interior design as a future field of study. This camp is best suited for high school students entering 10, 11, or 12th grades in the 2020 fall semester. Projects are selected to actively engage students in the act of building and to creatively explore a variety of design media and methods. Students will also participate in the virtual firm tour in design firms in Dallas- Fort Worth. Past participants reported the work completed in previous summer sessions has been invaluable in building their student portfolios for college admission.

High Energy and Nuclear Physics
We invite high school students to participate in physics exercises and lab tours, and this is both an excellent outreach opportunity and an excellent recruitment opportunity for UTA.
