AIA Dallas Tour of Homes

The Dallas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA Dallas) is hosting the seventh annual Tour of Homes. Open to the public. The self-guided Tour will showcase the finest residential architecture in the Dallas/Fort Worth area designed by Texas architects. The tour takes place on Saturday, November 2nd and Sunday, November 3rd between the hours of 10am - 5pm.
Several architectural works by School of Architecture professors and alumni are featured on this tour. Of the 11 jury-reviewed residences, seven were designed by UTA alumni. The works include: Cherokee Trail by Professor Susan Appleton, AIA; the Bohdan Townhouse on Gillespie Street designed by Professor Thad Reeves, AIA, Professors Heath MacDonald, R.A. and Steve Quevedo; and Groveland Drive also by Professor Reeves, designed with TKTR.
The two residences by Domiteaux and Baggett at Kessler Woods Trail and Browning Lane are by School of Architecture alumna Laura Baggett, AIA. In addition, projects by alumni Marc McCollum, AIA and Cliff Welch, AIA were also selected for the tour.
