The UT Arlington Career Development Center organizes two (2) all-majors job fairs on campus every year (one in the Spring semester and one in the Fall semester). We typically have over 150 employers across multiple industries in attendance. NO RSVP is required to attend the job fairs; however, they are only open to currently enrolled UT Arlington students and alumni (graduates of the University).

College of Engineering Job Fair

Date:  Tuesday, February 20, 2018
Time:  10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location:  Maverick Activities Center, Gym – 500 W. Nedderman Dr., Arlington, TX 76019

Pricing Information:
  • Corporate/For-Profit Registration Fee:  $350
  • Government/Non-Profit Registration Fee:  $200
  • Third-Party Recruiting Agency Registration Fee:  $400
Registration fee includes:
  • 6’ table with 2 chairs.
  • Lunch for 2 representatives.
  • Free parking & assistance unloading/loading displays.

  • Government/Non-Profit Registration Fee:  $200

  • UTA Campus Department Registration Fee:  $55
    • *Addition tables:  $50 each
    • *Additional lunch tickets:  $10 each

EMPLOYERS: To register, please follow these steps:
  • 1.) Log into HIREAMAV powered by Handshake.  If you don’t have a login, click here for instructions on how to create an account.
  • 2.) Once logged in, search for UT Arlington Spring 2018 All Majors Job Fair under the Upcoming Career Fairs section (towards the bottom of your home screen).
  • 3.) Click UT Arlington Spring 2018 All Majors Job Fair.
  • 4.) Click on Register (blue button).
  • 5.) Complete the Job Fair Registration form.  Please note that you will receive an automatic email notification (with a link to your invoice) once your Job Fair registration has been approved by the Job Fair Committee.

  • HOW TO FIND A FEDERAL JOB
    Given the current economic state, many positions are becoming available with the Federal Government! This is a great opportunity to learn from federal agency reps on how to get jobs in the many different types of government agencies, as well as how to write a federal résumé.
  • INTERNSHIP WORKSHOP
    In today's economy, it's getting harder and harder to find a job. With more people looking for employment, you've got more competition! To help you stand out above the rest, it's best to have some experience to back up your college diploma and make your résumé shine! Come to the internship workshop to hear from actual recruiters on their amazing internship programs and how you can benefit from them! Bring a friend and some questions!
  • INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP
    In this specialized workshop for International students, you'll learn how to prepare for the Job Fair, as well as other career related topics specific to International students.
  • résumé CRITIQUES
    Need your résumé critiqued before the job fair? Then come to our on-site résumé critiques! Employers and Career Consultants will be critiquing résumés, so everyone has the chance to make their best impression at the job fair.   • HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL AT THE JOB
    Nervous about attending the job fair? The Career Development Center is here to help! Learn how to network a job fair and what to say when you approach an employer. Get advice on what to wear and other great tips designed to help you have a successful job fair experience!

    Worried about making a good first impression? Attend Practice Networking! Learn from real company recruiters how to put your best foot forward, then practice your skills with the people that matter!
