On-Campus Recruiting - Increase your visibility on campus!

The Career Development Center offers employers many opportunities to build their brand on campus to recruit UT Arlington talent for full-time, part-time, and internship positions.  If you have any questions and/or need additional information regarding any of the below opportunities, please contact our Employer Relations team at 817-272-5201.  We look forward to partnering with you!

Participate in the Job Fair

The Career Development Center hosts a University-wide, all majors Job Fair each semester. The fair typically attracts close to 2,000 students and alumni. Advance registration is required, and the Employer Relations Team will notify interested employers when registration opens. Host an Information Table

Information Tables are located in high-traffic areas to maximize exposure to students. Employers can pass out information directly to students and engage them in short conversations. Tables are available in specific buildings based on the student population you wish to interact with and engage. To reserve a table, please click here.

Host an Information Session

Information sessions allow employers to meet with groups of students in a less formal setting than an actual interview. Employers have the chance to speak with students about their company, their industry, the types of positions they have to offer, what they are looking for in a candidate, and answer students’ questions. Information sessions are often held in conjunction with on-campus interviews. To request an Information Session, please click here.

On-Campus Interviews

Campus interviews are a convenient and efficient way to interview multiple students in just one day. Traditional recruiting cycles are February–April and September–November, but employers may schedule on-campus interviews at any time. The application and screening process is done electronically through our job database.

When you are ready to sign-up for an on-campus interview date, please follow these steps:

  1. Log into HIREAMAV powered by Handshake.
  2. Once you are logged in, select “Request An Interview”. Fill in the required fields.
  3. Once you have submitted your request, your schedule will be in a pending status to be reviewed by our Employer Relations Team. If approved, you will receive an email that will include a confirmation form for you to review/sign. If your schedule is not approved, we will notify you with the reason.
  4. Our Employer Relations team will work closely with you throughout the process to ensure you have a successful visit.

Connect with Student Organizations

The University has over 350 student organizations, and many are related to specific degree programs. Meeting with such groups allows employers to share their knowledge about the industry, present a workshop on a relevant topic, or sponsor an event. Our Employer Relations Team can contact the student organization on your behalf.

Workshops, Resume Critiques, and Mock Interview Day

Throughout the year, the Career Development Center offers workshops designed to help our students better prepare for their job search. In addition, we offer resume critiques and mock interviews. We rely on the support of our volunteer recruiters to make these events a success.
