Focus 2 Career Assessment
FOCUS 2 is a self-paced, online career and education planning tool for college students that is designed to help you make decisions about future career goals and education plans. FOCUS 2 provides five self-assessments to help you identify your top work interests, values, skills, personality type, and leisure time interests and explore occupations and major areas of study compatible with your personal attributes. Students use FOCUS 2 to help choose or change their major and also to verify their choice of a career field.

Occupational Outlook Handbook: For hundreds of different types of jobs (such as teacher, lawyer, or nurse) the Occupational Outlook Handbook gives you specific information on careers. In addition, the Handbook gives you job search tips, links to information about the job market in each State, and much more!
What Can I Do with a Major In...?: A convenient website providing a connection to career options for academic majors offered at UTA. For each major that interests you, you will find an outline of common career areas, typical employers, and strategies designed to maximize career opportunities.
seekUT: Empowers students and their families by providing information on student loan debt and first- and fifth-year earning for recent UT graduates by major.
ONET Online: The O*NET database contains information on hundreds of standardized and occupation-specific descriptors. The database is available to the public at no cost and is continually updated. The database provides an interactive application for exploring and searching occupations along with career exploration tools.
