Student Chosen for NASA Workshop

Civil Engineering Ph.D. student Shelia Scott Neumann was selected to attend NASA’s 14th annual International Workshop on Environment and Alternative Energy, to be held at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, from October 18-21, 2016. This year’s theme is "Increasing Space Mission Ground Infrastructure Resiliency through Sustainable Measures.”

Shelia will speak and present a poster on her dissertation research, titled “Environmental Life Cycle Assessment of Commercial Space Transportation (CST) Activities.” Her dissertation supervisor is Dr. Melanie Sattler.
