Cheers! To the Class of 2020

While we await the postponed commencement ceremonies, we invited graduates, families, friends, alumni and the entire UTA Community to celebrate with Interim President Teik Lim.

Commencement is a culmination of the hard work and dedication students put into earning their degree. It is not only a way to recognize their efforts, but to celebrate graduates as they begin to apply the lessons they’ve learned in the classroom to the world beyond academia. And while the pomp and circumstance may look a little different right now, UTA is as proud as ever to honor this fall’s graduating class both now and formally in the future with postponed ceremonies.

Show us your “Forever Maverick” pride for a chance to be featured in the show. Take a video of yourself celebrating in unique ways, such as moving your tassel, throwing confetti, or tossing or decorating your cap. Share photos or brief video clips of you and your friends enjoying your time on campus, or how you made the best of your last semester at UTA from home. Upload your photos or short videos at this website for a chance to be included in the celebration no later than Dec. 15, 2020.
