Graduate Admissions

The Communication Department accepts applications for Fall semesters only. Check on the Graduate School web page for application deadlines. Incomplete applications (those missing letters, GRE score, personal essay or any other component of the application) will be deferred and students will need to reapply to the program upon the submission of all materials.

GRADUATE ADMISSION STANDARDS

After supplying all information required by the Graduate School, the following information is used when determining admission status into the program:

  • GPA on last 60 hours of Undergraduate Program (as calculated by Graduate School of UT Arlington)
  • GRE scores
  • 3 Letters of recommendation
  • Your essay

All criteria are considered together; no single factor will eliminate a prospective student from consideration.
