Broadcasting Highlights

UTA Radio

UTA Radio won regional and national awards for best sportscast and best public service announcement.; covering two recent, national events, Arlington’s XFL team and the Korn Ferry golf tournament.

UTA Radio received press credentials for students to cover South by Southwest in Austin.

Maverick Media

Maverick Media produced UTA Spotlight segments for the city of Arlington. Check out this segment on UTA Homecoming.

Internships and Opportunities

We encourage all eligible students to do an internship while a Broadcasting student. Upon reaching upper division status, our students have interned at all of the major television stations in the area, at production houses and in corporations.
