Best poster award won by EES graduate - GSA Conference
The undergraduate and graduate students and faculty of the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences had a strong presence at the GSA South Central Meeting March 12-13,2018 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Ohood Alsalem gave an oral presentation on Neodymium isotope constraints on Paleozoic sediment dispersal. Danelle Carr and Heather Hullum (undergraduate students) and Mikaela Brown, Mitali Gautam, and Kristina Wolfe (graduate students) presented their research on posters. Congratulations to Kristina Wolfe who won the best student poster award on the expansion of the ocean oxygen minimum zone under higher CO2-radiative forcing.
