Dear Members of the UTA Community:

Hurricane Harvey has left a path of devastation across parts of Texas and continues to put tens of thousands of Texans at risk. As the crisis unfolds, UTA offers its support to our fellow Mavericks and all those impacted by the destruction and severe flooding wrought by Harvey. Our thoughts are with our Maverick family, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, online students from these areas and those who have loved ones living in the affected regions.

As a Community That Cares for one another, we want to do everything we can to help. We encourage students in need to contact the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs at 817-272-6080 during business hours or by email at If you would like to take advantage of counseling services UTA offers for students, please call 817-272-3671 during office hours and 817-272-TALK (8255) for after-hours care.

The Maverick family extends our thoughts and heartfelt prayers to everyone impacted. We have reached out to our sister campuses and other affected educational institutions and stand ready to assist as and when needed.
