Merit Increases for FY 18-19

Dear Colleagues,

Our dedicated faculty and staff continue to position The University of Texas at Arlington as the Model 21st-Century Urban University.

Our faculty and staff enable the excellence that defines UTA, and through our collective effort we will continue to move forward with our Strategic Plan: Bold Solutions | Global Impact. We are an institution focused on IDEAS (Innovation, Diversity, Excellence, Access, and Student Success). In continuing efforts to enhance compensation levels for our faculty and staff, a merit pool of 2.5 percent has been allocated for all eligible individuals for FY 18-19, the details of which will be provided by Human Resources in the coming weeks. For faculty and staff receiving a merit increase, the increase will be to the base salary, effective September 1, 2018. The increase will be reflected in the October 2018 paycheck.
