UTA Health Services continues to offer free COVID-19 testing for students. New appointment times are available on the following days at the Maverick Activities Center:

  • Wednesday, January 20, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Please note, the CDC does not recommend testing if you have already tested positive in the preceding three months and do not currently have symptoms.

There are a limited number of spots available, so an appointment is required. Students can schedule an appointment through the MavCare Patient Portal by following these instructions:

  1. Go to https://mavcare.uta.edu
  2. Log on with your UTA email address and password
  3. Fill in your date of birth
  4. Click on Appointments
  5. Select Schedule an Appointment
  6. Select Student Outreach Event
  7. Click on Search for Appointments
  8. Select your appointment time
  9. Click on Continue
  10. Click on Schedule

You will receive notification of your results two to three days after your appointment.

Should you need to cancel your appointment:

  1. Go to https://mavcare.uta.edu
  2. Log on with your UTA email address and password
  3. Fill in your date of birth
  4. Click on Appointments
  5. Click on Cancel Appointment
  6. Select a reason
  7. Click OK
