The College of Engineering is the most comprehensive in North Texas and the third-largest in Texas. It offers 11 baccalaureate, 14 master's, and 9 doctoral degrees.

Outstanding Research and Location Highlight Graduate Engineering Programs at UTA

Seven buildings with top-notch laboratory facilities are dedicated to engineering education and research on campus. The Engineering Research Building, completed in 2011, is a 234,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art building that allows interdisciplinary interaction and collaboration between the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, the Department of Bioengineering and the College of Science. The Science and Engineering Innovation and Research (SEIR) Building is under construction and scheduled to open in 2018.

The Shimadzu Institute Nanotechnology Research Center is the most advanced clean room in the region and provides multiple opportunities for exploration at the nano-scale.
