Undergraduate students collaboratingInnovation Day celebrates and showcases the innovative, transformative research and undergraduate capstone projects being done by College of Engineering students. Community members and industry leaders are invited to participate and observe the depth and breadth of research occurring in UTA labs.

Undergraduate Research

The Dean of Engineering has funded 42 undergraduate research projects. Students will work alongside a faculty member on a faculty research project. Teams must make a presentation –– oral or poster –– at Innovation Day. Prizes awarded to the top 3 presentations.

Graduate Research

Graduate students engaged in innovative research are encouraged to enter the graduate research competition. Students must make a presentation –– oral or poster –– at Innovation Day. Prizes awarded to the top 3 presentations.

Senior Projects

Seniors graduating in Fall 2017 or in Spring 2018 who have finished their senior projects are encouraged to display them. At least one member of the team must be present at Innovation Day.
