Dr. Mohsen Shahandashti is an assistant professor of Construction Engineering/Infrastructure Systems in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). He joined UTA immediately after receiving PhD from Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Civil Engineering in Texas. His research activities have been funded by several agenacies, inlcuding Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), Louisiana DOT, Georgia DOT, City of Arlington, North Central Texas Council of Governments, and Engineering Information Foundation.

Research Interest: Analytics for Resilient and Sustainable Infrastructure Asset Management

Dr. Shahandashti and his students develop theoretical foundations and applications to enhance the Infrastructure Asset Management by leveraging the availability of big data sources along with recent advances in data analytics/operations research ( Information Modeling, Optimization, Data Integration, Data Mining, and Risk-Based Economic Decision Analysis).
