Announcements

The 2024-2025 FAFSA form is now available to complete online at StudentAid.gov. UTA’s 2024-2025 priority date is May 1, 2024.

Once UTA receives your completed 2024-25 FAFSA form, you will be sent an email to your UTA email. You may also log into StudentAid.gov to check the status of your form by selecting your FAFSA submission from the "My Activity" section of your account dashboard. As of April 12th students are able to make corrections to an already completed 24-25 FAFSA form.

The Blaze Forward Program makes it even easier for eligible students to get a world-class education here at UTA!

Using a combination of grants, tuition waiver and scholarships, the Blaze Forward Program provides students meeting all eligibility requirements with funding that will cover 100% of their tuition and course fees for fall 2024 and spring 2025 semesters.

After completing your FAFSA form, you will be notified via your UTA email account once your FAFSA has been received as well as if any documents are required to complete your financial aid file. Completed 2024-2025 FAFSA forms will not be share with us or any other organization until mid-March.

*We will also update your To-Do List in your MyMav Student Homepage with any outstanding items.

IMPORTANT DATES

Check out the scholarship deadlines for Fall 2024 incoming Freshmen and Transfers!

December 31, 2023: The 2024-25 FAFSA will become available

Mid-March 2024: Earliest date UTA will receive completed 2024-25 FAFSA forms 

May 1, 2024*: Priority Date for the 2024-2025 Aid Year (Summer 2024, Fall 2024, and Spring 2025)

May 24, 2024: Earliest disbursement of financial aid for the Summer 2024 semester.

August 9, 2024: Earliest disbursement of financial aid for the Fall 2024 semester.

January 3, 2025: Earliest disbursement of financial aid for the Spring 2025 semester.


2024-2025 Blaze Forward Program Deadline

*Please complete your 2024-2025 FAFSA form, turn in all requested documents, and be admitted to UTA by May 1, 2024, to be considered for maximum grant funding for the 2024-2025 aid year.

Students who complete applications or are admitted after May 1st will receive a financial aid offer based on available funds at the time the application is completed.

BLAZE FORWARD PROGRAM

UTA is proud to offer the Blaze Forward Program. Undergraduate students who meet all eligibility requirements and deadlines will be offered a combination of grants and other gift aid that will cover 100% of their tuition and mandatory fees for the Fall and Spring semesters.
