Aparna Nair is a historian of disability and medicine at the University of Toronto-Scarborough's Department of Health and Society. Her forthcoming book Fungible Bodies explores the relationships between colonialism and disability in British India.

Lisette Varón-Carvajal is an Assistant Professor of History at Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá, Colombia. She is an expert on women's and gender history, and on the history of medicine in colonial Latin America, especially New Granada.

H. Yumi Kim is Assistant Professor of History at Johns Hopkins University, and author of Madness in the Family: Women, Care, and Illness in Japan (Oxford University Press), which was awarded the 2023 John K. Fairbank Prize by the American Historical Association.

Sean Bloch is a team lead at General Dynamics Information Technology. He was previously a lecturer at Dartmouth College, a consultant to World Wide Sires LLC on a United States Department of Agriculture livestock market assessment of East Africa, and a Swahili translator at Denver South High School. His work has been published in The Journal of African History (2017).
