COVID information for the Honors College

COVID information for the Honors College

UTA and the Honors College want to minimize exposure to the Covid-19 virus, so many of our activities will be online for this semester. We will still host Honors College Council meetings, Colloquia and other Registration Reward events, but these will be conducted virtually. Our back-to-campus Games Night is always fun and we are bringing that to you again this semester online.

We are adding access that we have never had before, such as a Discord channel where you can connect with other Honors College students and staff, virtual museum tours, movie nights, study groups, and bingo.

This also means that are two major changes in the Honors College this fall: the CAB will be closed to students and the free printing will be delayed through September 30. We will assess the situation at the end of September and decide whether to extend or lift these limitations. We assure you that we will reopen the CAB and bring back printing as soon as it is safe to do so.

All Honors advising will be conducted online through Microsoft Teams and email. If it is your semester for Honors advising, you will get an email in September to let you know what to do.

Finally, we realize that many of your classes are online and/or hybrid this semester; thus, the Honors College will allow contracting of online and hybrid courses for fall. Please watch your UTA email for more information on this coming soon.

We are always available to our students through our Honors email, Please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.

We are excited to start the new semester and we look forward to seeing you soon.
