Honors Study Abroad : Scotland 2009
Join other UTA students and Professors Karl Petruso and Stanley Palmer for Study Abroad in Scotland, Summer I, 2009.
Experience the pleasure of living and learning in an international setting, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Hilights of the program include:
  • Receive 6 hours of upper-level UT Arlington credit (two courses).
  • Team-taught by Karl Petruso (Anthropology) and Stanley Palmer (History).
  • Participants will travel widely in Scotland to visit sites of archaeological and historical significance in the Borders, the Highlands, and the Orkney Islands.

Program Dates: June 10 - 28, 2009 (5-week Summer I semester)
Program Cost: $1750, excluding airfare, tuition, lunches and dinners.
Courses: ANTH 4358: Archaeology in Scotland, HIST 4388: Roman Imperialism to British Devolution.
