Mandatory Advising Policy
Fall Initial Advising Deadline: Wednesday, December 4th, 2018
All UTA Honors College students are required to complete initial advising during the semester in which they are admitted to the Honors College.
In accordance with the policy in the Honors College student handbook, any current student who has not completed initial advising by December 7th will be dropped from the Honors College.
How do I attend? Sign up for an individual appointment
On the signup page, choose from the day and time blocks that are suitable for your schedule. The advisor will email your appointment time to you. New Honors students must complete Honors College initial advising in order to register for spring classes on Wednesday, December 7th; otherwise, an Honors College hold will be placed on their MyMav account.
Please note that high school students who have been admitted to the Honors College for the 2016-17 school year do not need to attend advising until they begin coursework at UTA.
