I believe I am the best suited person for the role of treasurer as I have experience in management as well as financial planning! I have always been passionate about money making, keeping and tracking and this job would be a great opportunity for me to express my passion of working with a team. Everyone loves when things falls into place and go according to plan, and I certainly would love to be the person who can make that happen. With my experience in partaking leadership roles in a business club (FBLA) and NHS in high school, I find myself constantly thinking of the next best way to generate funds and to invest it into the benefit of the cause. I would love for you to give me a chance to showcase my talent and ability to demonstrate my strengths in the Honors College!

I am running for treasurer because I bring a unique blend of financial organization and leadership experience that aligns perfectly with this role. I am the head of volunteer scheduling at Medical City in Arlington. As part of this role, Iāve honed my skills in organizing volunteersā schedules and distributing resources effectively and efficiently- critical skills for any treasurer. My leadership experience extends beyond this as I have also started the first ever online communication and resource platform for volunteers via GroupMe and have made the volunteering program at Medical City the most robust it has ever been in its 20+ year history. I plan to integrate similar fiscal robustness to the Honors College as treasurer by implementing new fundraising events and incentives. Additionally, I graduated high school with enough college credits to earn my undergraduate degree in 2 years. My ability to stay 2 years ahead in my studies proves my track record of anticipating and executing organized plans effectively. I am committed to transparency, accuracy, and fiscal responsibly and I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to the Honors College financial progress and success!

This is the perfect opportunity to demonstrate my growth in both leadership and management skills from the last time I was secretary. With past experience and an easier schedule this semester, I will be able to fully focus on HCC and time manage both meetings and classes. I want to branch out and make more connections as I have improved communication skills, I am eager to put into action.

I am running for an HCC officer position to be more involved within the Honors College and its student body. I am also applying for a position to become more experienced in business related positions.
I believe I am best suited to becoming the Treasurer of the HCC as a current business student double majoring in Finance and Accounting who will be able to handle the budget and financial records responsibly.
I believe that I am a good fit to become a Public Relations Chair as I am currently an Honors College Advocate and will do my best to promote events and meetings of the HCC.

In high school, I observed student communities struggling to utilize their resources effectively. Every time I saw such inefficiency, I used to think in what way I could have organized this event so that the resources would have been utilized better. After three years of analyzing such inefficient budgeting, I decided to take up the control and stepped up as a treasurer in one of my high school clubs.
From then on I gave the position my hundred percent and not just me but everyone around saw the visible difference in the resources that were then being utilized in the school events. As a Treasurer at UTA Honors College, I will ensure that our Honors College resources are allocated thoughtfully and transparently. My previous experience in managing budgets in the school club has equipped me with the skills necessary for financial planning and oversight. I aim to implement clear budgeting practices and maintain open communication about how funds are used.
Furthermore, I want to diversify the students' experience at honors college by sharing different ideas for upcoming activities that we can do at Honors College. I am committed to fostering an environment where every initiative receives the support it deserves.

Hi, Iām Aiden, a physics major, and can afford to buy ramen at least once a month. My debt isnāt entirely crushing, so I can confidently say I wonāt run the honorās college into complete financial ruin. I am moderately acquainted with excel sheets and have also used google docs on occasion, so that will probably be useful somehow. The main reason I am running is because it sounds like fun to take part in the workings of the honors college and that I donāt think I would do well as public relations chair. Vote for me and I will change little and probably not make anything worse.

Hello, I am running for the Public Relations Chair because not only do I have great communication skills, I am experienced in maintaining and growing a social media account and am constantly improving my time management skills. I am also experienced in graphic design for instance with my 1 year experience working as a Caricature artist and Canva, in making posters for promotion such as those made for my academic decathlon group. While I could talk about my screen time on google calendar, Iāll say just that planning is important, but execution is as, if not more, important. So, vote for me to continuously make each Honors college event the best it can be.
