Winter Break Closing Information

For the winter break, all residence halls close with the exception of Arlington Hall and Lipscomb Hall. Residents who wish to live on-campus for winter break should apply for Winter Session housing. All other residents must prepare their rooms for winter break. This year, residence halls close at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017 and will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018. 

Residents may leave their belongings in the room, but should review the procedures below to avoid fines and ensure a smooth and quick check-out process:

All rooms will be provided with a Roommate Cleaning Agreement. If you would like to print a copy, click your residence hall below:

Please note that your residence hall contract is binding for the entire Academic Year (Fall and Spring Semesters). Cancelling your Residence Hall Contract early will result in a Contract Cancellation Charge equivalent to 100% of the remaining housing charges through 2018 Spring Semester. Residence hall students can choose from one of our four traditional meal plans, while students living in campus apartments or off campus can choose from the commuter or traditional plans. All plans include meals in the Connection Café, Dining Dollars, and College Park Dollars that can be used at a variety of dining locations on campus.
