New Student Move In

Sign up for a Move In Appointment in the Housing Portal by clicking the Schedule Appointment button on the home page.

To check in, go to your assigned residence hall and visit the front desk before bringing any of your belongings in. Once the check-in process is complete, you may move any personal belongings to your new room. Find out what's included!

Returning Student Move In

Returning students can go directly to their room upon move-in. You are encouraged to stop by and say "Hi" to your RA so they know you have returned.

Find Your Room Door Pin Number

Doors that do not require keys to enter are secured using what we call an offline card reader. To enter these doors, you will need a specific pin number. Find your pin number and bring it with you to move-in day so your move-in process is not delayed. Instructions on finding your pin number can be found on the OIT Website under View Information About Your Account.

Room and Roommate Information

Tentative room and roommate information will be available in the Housing Application the afternoon of January 8, 2021.

Hall/Room Change Requests will not be accepted until January 15, 2021. Space is extremely limited and approval is not guaranteed.

APARTMENT SPRING 2021 MOVE-IN

To check in, leave your belongings in your car and check in at University Housing Office at the University Center. You will need to have your Mav ID card with you at the time of check in. Your pro-rated rent must be paid on your MyMav account prior to moving in.

You can pick up your key 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on your move in date, but you cannot occupy your apartment until AFTER 5 p.m. on your move in date.

Meningitis Immunization Information

Chances are, if you have not submitted your meningitis information, we have contacted you multiple times in multiple ways. Students must have meningitis immunization documentation on file with the Office of Records and Enrollment at least 10 days prior to moving in. Students without proper documentation will not be allowed to move in. Some exceptions may apply so click here to learn more.

Room and Roommate Information - Lofts 2 Bedroom Units, Timber Brook, and Heights on Pecan Only

Tentative roommate information will be available in the Housing Application the afternoon of January 10, 2020.

Please note that some of the listed apartment mates might already be living in the apartment. For others, they will move into the apartment on move-in day. Please recognize that this assignment may change if someone in your apartment cancels their lease for the upcoming academic year. Unfortunately, you will not be notified if a change is made. Your assigned unit number will be provided when you check into the apartment on your designated Move-In day.

Please note: University Housing is committed to the commonalities and differences among all people of the world; therefore, if you Facebook your new roommate and discover that you have nothing in common, we encourage you to keep an open mind, learn from each other, and grow as a student of the world.
