FALL FINANCIAL WELLNESS 

Many in our UTA community are continuing to experience financial stress during this COVID-19 time: Some are planning for retirement; others owe more in debt payments today than one year ago; and many just want to earn more money, pay down debt, and budget better. 

CLASSES

Join us for one or more of these sessions presented by the Office of Human Resources and our approved retirement providers: 

10/07/2020 – Wednesday – 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. – Financial Guide for Women: Charting Your Course – AIG Retirement Services – Ava Overman and Doris Silva - This session provides basic retirement savings information, such as how to create a retirement saving plan, evaluating your financial health, and how to help make your money work harder.

11/11/2020 – Wednesday – 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. - Basics of Investing – TIAA – Joy Doss – We all want to be ready for retirement when that day comes.  This class will provide you with real tools to take next steps today. We will explore concepts such as managing risk vs. reward, understanding investment risks, how to accelerate savings, tools you can use in your financial portfolio.   

12/02/2020 – Wednesday – 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.Managing Debt – Lincoln Financial Group – Bill Porterfield - You will learn the tips to understand how to strike the proper balance between saving and spending.

TRS INFORMATION SESSIONS

TRS is holding online retirement information sessions this Fall: More info is available by visiting MyTRS to learn how to create your profile and register for a User ID and Password. Select “Register Group Presentations” to enroll.
