Dennis Chiessa


Dennis is a graduate of UTA’s School of Architecture where he currently is a Lecturer in Architecture in the College of Architecture, Planning and Public Affairs teaching Design Studio, Design Communication and Interior Materials. 

Dennis’ work has been exhibited in several venues including Enlaces in Dallas, Perspectivas in Austin, Fort Worth Community Arts Center and the Architecture 500 Biennial in the Amarillo Museum of Art.  As a member of Dennehy Architects his work received several awards including: First Place in the Tandy Hills Pavilion Design Competition, a Studio Award from AIA-Fort Worth for a Prototype Infill House, the 2017 AIA Fort Worth Community Award and several Honor Awards in the Enlaces juried exhibitions in Dallas in 2016 and 2017.  In 2018, Dennis was selected to be a Blueprint for Better Communities Champion, an initiative that seeks to expand the number of AIA members engaged in their communities.
