Math Clinic

***Last day for LRC tutoring is Tuesday, April 30th. The lab and clinic will be closed Wednesday, May 1st, through Sunday, June 2nd.***
***Enjoy your break, and we'll see those of you taking summer classes on Monday, June 3rd!***

Welcome to the home page of the UTA Math Clinic, part of the Math Learning Resource Center. We are a tutoring resource available to students currently enrolled in undergraduate mathematics classes at UTA (Math 0300-3345).

Need help with a math question? Drop in anytime we are open for free tutoring, no appointment necessary. If you are taking MATH 2425 (Calculus II) or higher, you may check our Tutor Availability page to find a time that we will have a specialized tutor for your class.

Not on campus? Connect with our tutors via TEAMS any time the Math Clinic is open. Or, drop your question in the chat after hours and we will get back with you when we open up. Microsoft TEAMS is available online in your favorite web browser, as a downloadable Windows desktop app, or as a mobile app. You will log in with your student email and password, just like Canvas. Click here to Download Microsoft Teams. Click here to join us virtually in our Math LRC Tutoring Team and post a question for our tutors. Our tutors will respond to your question via chat, call, or even a webcam screen-share conference. You do not need a microphone or webcam to obtain tutoring but may use them if you have those devices. There are tools for writing and sharing images and files. Instructions are included at the top of the TEAMS page. Students may post questions to the site after hours, and someone will respond during business hours.

We look forward to helping you achieve success in your math course!

Below is the current Math Clinic & TEAMS tutoring schedule:

Math Clinic and Teams hours of operation: Monday through Thursday 8 a m to 9 p m, Friday 8 a m to 12 noon, Saturday 1 p m to 6 p m, and Sunday 1 p m to 7 p m.

Who we are

The tutors at the UTA Math Clinic are all undergraduate students at UTA with excellent mathematical experience and knowledge. As in life, we all have our own areas of expertise, but we are all generally proficient in all of the subjects we tutor.

We are not all math majors; some of us are engineering majors, and we are ready to help you learn math! More info about our tutors can be found here.
