In consultation with SCI and many of our departmental colleagues here at UTA, we have decided to cancel the SCI conference (which we already had rescheduled once) in October. The distancing guidelines the university will have in place, as well as likely travel restrictions, will mean that we will be unable to put on a conference at such large scale.

We really appreciate everyone’s enthusiasm for this conference and are disappointed we won’t be able to gather together to perform all of the wonderful music, and discuss all of the wonderful presentations. We have opted not to reschedule any further so that we and SCI may move on with other plans.

We will be refunding all conference registration and banquet fees, but due to the process, we will need you to schedule a time to call our office to make the transaction. Please email Mr. Rick Kelsey (kelsey@uta.edu) to set up a time to call.
