Friday deadline for The Big Event site leader applications

The Big Event—UTA's largest day of volunteer service—needs site leaders to oversee tasks at the project sites and act as liaisons between volunteers, the executive board, and project site coordinators. Apply online by Friday, Feb. 9

With more than 45 project sites, this year's Big Event needs twice as many site leaders as previous years.

Students, faculty, staff, and Arlington community members volunteer for four hours at various project sites, such as shelters, parks, libraries, and more throughout North Texas. This year's event is the morning of Saturday, April 14, followed by a celebration for participants with free food, drinks, and live music.
