Professors needed for Upward Bound summer programs

Tuesday, April 10, 2018

Innovative, dynamic, and creative college professors are invited to use their experiences and knowledge to lead summer courses offered through UTA's TRIO Pre-College Programs. Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math and Science programs invite high school students to participate in a six-week residential program at UTA every summer.

UTA's TRIO Pre-College Programs have provided college preparation services to low-income/first-generation students since 1982. The U.S. Department of Education recently renewed funding for the next five years for all programs at UTA:

  • Upward Bound
  • Upward Bound Math and Science
  • Educational Talent Search
  • Veterans Upward Bound

If you are a college professor who wants to use your expertise to make a difference in young people’s lives, then consider applying to be an Upward Bound or Upward Bound Math and Science instructor. Apply online.

If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact the TRIO Pre-College Programs at 817-272-2610.
