Associate vice president for enrollment management hired
Rebecca Lothringer has joined UTA as associate vice president for enrollment management, effective Oct. 1.
Dr. Lothringer previously served as associate vice president for enrollment and university admissions at the University of North Texas, which achieved increases in freshman, transfer, and new graduate students this fall. Under her leadership, UNT developed robust campus partnerships, an effective enrollment team, targeted communication and technology initiatives, and data-driven recruitment efforts.
She has served as president of the Texas Association of Collegiate Registrar’s and Admissions Officers and is currently co-chair for the state’s ApplyTexas Advisory Committee.
Viewing enrollment management as a campus-wide effort, Lothringer will work to develop partnerships and relationships throughout the campus to meet and exceed the goals of the University.
“Dr. Lothringer’s commitment to access and excellence shows she will fit in well at UTA,” said Troy Johnson, vice president for enrollment management. “I’m convinced she will make such a positive difference in the future of students’ lives and UTA’s bright future.”
