Radio stories report on water well study

WBAP 820 AM and KLIF 570 AM also aired reports on the study about private water wells near natural gas drilling sites. Those radio stories featured Sherri Steward, a retired teacher from Northlake who had her water tested as part of the study.

Behavior toward immigrants studied

A UT Arlington study shows that feelings of entitlement and superiority that go beyond patriotism and love of country may be a key predictor for Americans who will feel or behave negatively toward undocumented Latino immigrants, Science Newsline,, Science Codex and many other websites reported. Researchers looked at those enhanced feelings of superiority – referred to as group-level narcissism – along with a factor called national in-group identification, in a new work to be published in the August issue of the Hispanic Journal of Behavioral Science.
