Keeping your information safe from online hackers

Matthew Wright, a UT Arlington associate professor of computer science and engineering, said deciding on unusual passwords or opting for a password manager are options for computer security in cloud computing, WFAA Channel 8 reported in a story about the recent hacking incident in which several Hollywood stars' private photos were pilfered.

Latino Literacy Now

UT Arlington's Lidia Morris, coordinator/clinical instructor of the Center for Bilingual Education, and Luis Rosado, director of the Center for Bilingual Education, took top honors at the International Latino Book Awards, Targeted News Service reported. The awards were presented as part of the American Library Association’s 2014 Conference in Las Vegas.
