Management expert

People who receive emails from work after hours become angry more often than not finds a new study from UT Arlington management associate professor Marcus Butts, The Art of Service reported. Butts is the lead author on a study recently published in the Academy of Management Journal that says these after-hour emails and texts interfere with peoples’ personal lives also.

Alumna and author

The Burleson-Crowley Connection interviewed Anne Bailey about her passion for local history, which has led her to write a handful of books on the topic. Bailey is a graduate of The University of Texas at Arlington.

Power panel participant

Apache Web Developers Journal Online reported that Arvind Rangarajan took part in a Power Panel on the state of cloud computing at the 16th Cloud Expo. Rangarajan earned a master’s degree in Computer Engineering from UT Arlington.
